Time in grade:
Applicants must have completed at least 52 weeks at the next lower grade (GS-05 for GS-07, GS-07 for GS-09), or have held the same grade or higher grade level as the one advertised in order to be considered for this position. Minimum Qualifications Requirement:
Specialized Experience for GS-07:
To qualify for the GS-07 grade level, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the Federal GS-05 level or higher, that has equipped you with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. For this position, examples of specialized experience include performing assignments, projects or studies related to administrative business operations and programs; resolving procedural problems or issues based on knowledge of well-established administrative and technical methods to perform assignments; providing administrative management support based on knowledge of mission and function, goals and programs. OR Education Substitution:
1 year of graduate-level education in a related field. OR Superior Academic Achievement:
To qualify for superior academic achievement, you must have ONE of the following:
(1) standing in the upper third of your college class or major subdivision at the time you apply; (2) grade point average of B (3.0 on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent for all courses completed, either (a) at the time of application or (b) during the last 2 years of your undergraduate curriculum; (3) B
(3.5 on a 4.0 scale) or its equivalent for all courses completed, either (a) at the time of application or (b) during the last 2 years of your undergraduate curriculum; OR (4) election to membership in one of the national honorary scholastic societies that meets the requirements of the Association of College Honor Society. Specialized Experience for the GS 09:
To qualify for the GS-09 grade level, you must possess at least one year of specialized experience, equivalent to the Federal GS-07 level or higher, that has equipped you with the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities to successfully perform the duties of this position. For this position, examples of specialized experience include performing assignments, projects or studies related to administrative business operations and programs; applying analytical and evaluative techniques and skills to the identification, consideration, and resolution of issues or problems of a procedural or factual nature; producing a variety of technical and narrative reports to document planning and application work. OR Education Substitution:
Master's or equivalent graduate degree or 2 full years of progressively higher level graduate education leading to such a degree OR LL.B., or J.D., if related. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
