MARKETING ASSISTANT
Location: Auburn, AL
Job Description
Assists in all aspects of Marketing Department operations, including support, development and distribution of brand-wide and local marketing materials. The ideal candidate will have strong written and verbal communication skills, possess strong proper grammar usage and proofreading abilities, and should embrace and flourish in a fast-paced environment by working well under pressure, managing time and being organized.
Responsibilities include:
oWrite and distribute press releases for all corporate and franchise-related news
oBuild and maintain media distribution lists for all current and future restaurant locations
oManage franchise wide social media campaigns for Facebook, Twitter, Foursquare, Yelp & more.
oExecute pre-opening marketing efforts for new locations
oAssist in the maintenance and updates of the Chicken Salad Chick website
oManage all online location listings and record all reviews across social media, review sites and corporate communications
oAssist in the creation/design of all local marketing materials
Minimum requirements:
oAssociate's Degree in Marketing, Public Relations, Business Administration or Related Field (Bachelor's Degree Preferred)
oExperience in following computer programs: Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, Acrobat and InDesign
oMust be able to travel up to 25-50% of the time
oMust be willing to relocate to Auburn, Alabama
