Corporate Trainer

JOB
Summary:
As a Corporate Trainer at Chicken Salad Chick, you will be our Brand ambassador and must demonstrate and uphold our culture at all times. In this role you will be responsible for training franchise owners, managers and team members in their respective roles so they can provide every guest, on every visit, a superb experience that creates a lasting memory.

You will be expected to learn all Brand standards, follow them and inspire others to do the same. The Training & Development Department seeks to continuously improve its methods and materials and your feedback will be essential in achieving this goal.

Essential Functions:
Facilitate training for owners and managers
Conduct team member training for restaurant openings
Establish open lines of communication with franchise owners and managers and be able to provide performance feedback on training participants
Continually improve training methods, materials and delivery
Order training materials and supplies
Assist with Company initiatives and provide operational support when needed
Operate within the established department budget

REQUIREMENTS:
Education
High school diploma or GED required
Bachelor's degree preferred

Experience
Previous restaurant management experience desired

Other
Must be able to travel up to 75% of the time
Must be willing to relocate to Auburn, Alabama
Must be able to demonstrate the Chicken Salad Chick culture
Must be comfortable presenting material in both a classroom and in-restaurant environment
Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook (experience with PhotoShop and e-learning authoring software is a plus)

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to move freely throughout all areas of the restaurant.
Ability to lift or carry 40 pounds.
Ability to travel to all restaurant locations and throughout any new areas being considered for growth opportunities.
Ability to stand for sustained periods of time.
Ability to handle papers, pick up telephone, type on a computer, etc.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
