Senior Progress ABL Developer
The Senior Progress ABL Software Developer's role is to define, design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain new and current web-based software applications in support of business requirements for OpenEdge platforms in an agile process. This role is also responsible for participating in Business and Sprint planning meetings in addition to peer code and design reviews.
Responsibilities
Define, design, develop, test, analyze, and maintain Progress web-based solutions for business processes
Participate in Business and Sprint planning meetings
Complete committed work on time
Set and train others in technology standards and ensure technology standards are followed
Pair program and mentor other developers
Code review others code and design to provide constructive feedback
Other duties as assigned by management
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or comparable degree (or 8
years equivalent work experience)

years writing Progress web applications and services
Desired Experience and Skills
Expert in relational database
Thorough understanding of architecture and design
HTML
JavaScript
Pharmacy or medical related software development
Agile software development
HID has offices located in Auburn, Alabama and Media, Pennsylvania. Remote work is also available for the right candidate.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
