Position Summary:
Monitors all automated machinery performance and efficiencies.
Performs preventative and corrective maintenance to assigned machines and areas.
Accurately records information as required by the quality system or by instruction.
Performs quality checks and makes machine adjustments to maintain quality and rates.
Assists with the maintenance of spare parts stores as assigned.
Fabricates or modifies machinery or equipment as assigned.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:
High School diploma or equivalent. Any post high school studies related to hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical a plus.
Ability to work in fast paced production environment under high volume/high quality standards.
Ability to work overtime and off shifts if needed.
Work well within a team environment and ability to work independently, self motivated.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Follows company policies and safety rules.
Basic knowledge of 5S and lean manufacturing principles.
PC skills required including Microsoft Office.
3-5 years experience as an automation technician or equivalent position including troubleshooting skills in electrical repair and pneumatics.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to a manufacturing environment ad may be exposed to heat and cold. The employee is occasionally exposed to vibration. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
