The Auburn University Athletics Department is now accepting applications for the position of Marketing and Fan Development Intern. This is an 11-month paid internship position. This is a non-benefits eligible position with a monthly stipend of $ 1,500.
The successful candidate will develop and implement marketing plans for assigned sports; assist in the design and distribution of printed sales/promotional materials; assist with execution of in-game promotions for assigned sports; assist in the oversight of the student internship program, assist in organizing campus and community fan development events and other related duties, as assigned.
Must possess excellent interpersonal, organizational and communication skills and have the ability to work both independently and in a team environment to create and implement marketing campaigns and strategies.
Requirements of this position include a Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Marketing, Sports Management or related field. Previous student work experience in promotions and/or marketing, preferably within an NCAA Division I institution and/or a professional sports organization. Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator software is preferred. The successful candidate must be able to work evenings, weekends and holidays.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
