Express Specialized Recruiting Group is looking for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager for a local automotive company in Auburn, AL.
Quality Assurance Manager Job Duties:
o Accomplishes quality assurance human resource objectives by training, assigning, scheduling, coaching, counseling, and disciplining employees; communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising, and reviewing job contributions; planning and reviewing compensation actions; enforcing policies and procedures.
o Achieves quality assurance operational objectives by contributing information and analysis to strategic plans and reviews; preparing and completing action plans; implementing production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; identifying and resolving problems; completing audits; determining system improvements; implementing change.
o Develops quality assurance plans by conducting hazard analyses; identifying critical control points and preventive measures; establishing critical limits, monitoring procedures, corrective actions, and verification procedures; monitoring inventories.
o Validates quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes; measuring production; documenting evidence; determining operational and performance qualification; writing and updating quality assurance procedures.
o Maintains and improves product quality by completing product, company, system, compliance, and surveillance audits; investigating customer complaints; collaborating with other members of management to develop new product and engineering designs, and manufacturing and training methods.
o Prepares quality documentation and reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends including failed processes, stability studies, recalls, corrective actions, and re-validations.
o Plans, coordinates, and directs quality control program designed to ensure continuous production of products consistent with established standards: Develops and analyzes statistical data and product specifications to determine present standards and establish proposed quality and reliability expectancy of finished product.
o Formulates and maintains quality control objectives and coordinates objectives with production procedures in cooperation with other plant managers to maximize product reliability and minimize costs.
o Directs, through intermediate personnel, workers engaged in inspection and testing activities to ensure continuous control over materials, facilities, and products.
Minimum Requirements/
Qualifications:
o Excellent decision, communication and organizational skills
o Demonstrated commitment and ability to motivate others
o TS 16949/ISO Internal Auditing
o Experience with quality inspection equipment including go/no go, pin gauges, calipers, etc
o Ability to read and understand complicated blue prints.
o CMM operation/programming
o Ability to understand and analyze SPC data (Histograms, run charts, Capability Studies etc. )
o Understanding of GD&T.
o Understanding of gauge metrology
o Microsoft office ( Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
o ASQ knowledge
o Six Sigma Green Belt
o PPI/Lean experience
o Experience / Knowledge with the following areas are considered as advantage:
Thermoplastic injection molding
Automotive industry

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
