Job Description includes the following:
Prefer 5 plus years working in a technical role in Automotive Paint Applications
Degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Industrial or equivalent experience.
Strong knowledge of automotive surface coatings and treatments is a must
Knowledge of Preventative and Total Productive Maintenance
Knowledge of 5S Principles and Implementation
Must be responsible for process performance in regards to quality and uptime
Must be able to demonstrate strong problem solving and interpersonal skills
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office package
Must demonstrate ability to drive process standardization and standardized work
Selected individual will be someone to take ownership of the painting process from the equipment and process side and drive continuous improvement projects for quality and OEE. Metal components once painted become scrap if world class qualify applications are not followed.
Preference for candidates in lower central Alabama. Others considered based on relative experience in a metals painting background.
Must be US Citizen or current holder of a VISA that does not requirement any sponsorshipEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
