We pay approximately 55% of our employee's benefits.Complimentary meal for every shift workedHousekeeping Manager Job Description and ResponsibilitiesThe Housekeeping Manager is responsible for ensuring efficient operations of the Housekeeping & Laundry Departments for both Hotel at Auburn University and Conference Center and The Laurel Hotel & Spa in accordance with Ithaka Hospitality standards as well as lead the entire housekeeping & laundry departments including rooms, back/front of house public areas and laundry.oResponsible for all aspects of housekeeping operations in both AUHCC and Laurel Hotel & Spa which include but are not limited to scheduling, training, hiringConducting pre-shift huddles and monthly departmental meetings.oMonitor performance to ensure that the staff adhere to our high standards of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.oEnsure that team members follow all hotel policy and procedures.oApproach all encounters with guests and fellow associates with a hospitable and service-oriented manner.oResponsible for increasing guest satisfaction and room cleanliness scores.oReply to guest surveys, address defects, and recover guest loyalty.oOversee and monitor housekeeping budget, inventory, payroll, and labor cost.oMonitor and direct all housekeeping and laundry supervisors.oEstablish and maintain a key control system for housekeepers.oConduct 30/60/90 day and annual associate performance appraisals.oParticipate in MOD coverage as needed.oPerform monthly walk through with Hotel Manager, DirOf Rooms and Engineering.oExecute emergency procedures in accordance with hotel standards.QualificationsBachelor's Degree or equivalent.Thorough knowledge of and experience in hotel and housekeeping operations.Effective management, leadership, organizational and communication skills.Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays.Strong problem-solving skills. The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
