POSITION SUMMARY This position works closely with physicians, mid-level providers, and medical assistants in a team setting to deliver high quality patient care in an efficient and effective manner.
This includes but is not limited to obtaining insurance pre-authorizations, referrals, and coordinating other aspects of the revenue cycle specific to each office/practice.
Communicates with outside agencies to provide coordinated care for patients.
Must be familiar with medical terminology, sensitive to confidential matters, and exhibit the ability to problem-solve.
POSITION QUALIFICATIONS Minimum Education High school diploma or equivalent.
Minimum Experience One year of experience as office assistant 1 or similar job and be familiar with medical terminology.
Required Registration/License/Certification BLS within 90 days of hire/transfer Preferred Education Associates Degree Preferred Experience Two years of experience as an office assistant 1 or similar job.

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
