A college degree isn't necessary, but it is a plus.
You must have a good work ethic, a general knowledge of turf, and be capable of continually learning throughout your time here.
Your daily routine will consist of treating turf, trees, and shrubs with pre emergent, post emergent, and/or fertilizer depending on times of year.
You will learn how to diagnose disease, fungus, and insect damage to these areas and learn how to correct problems as well.
You will be interacting with clients, so it is important you have the capacity to learn both customer service skills and knowledge to deal with any situations that may arise.
