Required
Qualifications:
Three (3) or more years of software engineering experience preferably in .Net technologies and web development
Working knowledge of .Net, , C#, SQL, JavaScript.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills, proven ability in determining the root cause of problems and the base set of conditions for their occurrence.
Must be comfortable working in a team environment as well as independently, and possess a sense of accountability and urgency in completing assignments.
Desired Qualifications
Experience building and operating high-volume web applications and/or customer facing web services
Experience in the payment processing industry
Experience with the following tools.echnologies: TFS, MVC4, SQL Server 2012, jQuery, XML, WCF, Web Services, SOAP, REST, JSON, HTML5, CSS3
Experience with multiple SDLC models is a plus
Minimum Education
Bachelor Degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or related field
Job Description
This position is under the general direction of the Software Development Manager and requires the ability to consistently develop and deliver projects on established time lines and quality expectations. Responsibilities include:
Develops software: specifically writes code for new and existing software products, participates in code reviews, software design and development process.
Determines operational feasibility by evaluating analysis, problem definition, requirements, solution development, and proposed solutions
Provides input to project plans by supplying accurate time estimates
Documents and demonstrates solutions using flowcharts, layouts, diagrams, charts, & code comments
Performs analysis of current programs including performance, diagnosis and troubleshooting of problem programs
Updates job knowledge by studying modern development tools, programming techniques, and computing equipment; and participating in educational opportunities;
Follows the established development methodologies
Provides escalated technical support as required
