Randstad Staffing is recruiting for growing automotive manufacturing companies in WEST POINT, GEORGIA and we are looking for a Group Leader with an automotive transmission background. This position is not a temporary position. This position is a direct hire opportunity in which you can be hired on directly by the company. The salary range is between $45,000-60,000 plus bonus and overtime. Base salary varies on experience. This company offers a competitive benefit package including 401k. Job Duties Include:
Understand and applies correct LOTO procedures and leads others in same
Generates and understands performance reports.
Promote Department goals by providing direction to all Team Members.
Correctly manages employee attendance and leave for accuracy and business efficiency.
Responsible for safety, quality, cost, and delivery targets for assigned area.
Administers first step disciplinary procedures.
Maintains and control appropriate TS16949 compliance
Enforces clean philosophy (5S) to maintain a clean working environment
Develop and implement improvements of process or equipment or procedures to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
Build and maintain positive team relations and effectively handles team relation issues
Ensures Team Members perform to policies, procedures, and training
Supports each department as required to achieve overall business goals
Performs special assignments as required by management
Working hours: Rotating Shifts
The ideal candidate must possess:
High School Diploma/ GED is required
Associates Degree is preferred
Transmission Manufacturing Experience (Strongly Preferred)
Automotive Manufacturing Experience is required
